🧠 CBT Thinking Traps: Spot the Mind Traps

In Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), we often look at the link between our thoughts, feelings and behaviours. When our thinking gets distorted — often automatically — it can fuel anxiety, low mood, shame or self-doubt.

These distorted thoughts are called thought traps, thinking errors or cognitive distortions. In therapy we explore thinking patterns in order to identify common thought traps, so we can learn to spot them, question them and shift our perspective.
